Data Mining: How Companies Know Your Personal Information – TIME

Um… I’ve worked for a rather gigantic mining company where I learned a lot… toooo much 🙁 I learned, for example,  that the follow is policy-defined and not inherent, meaning that the data must be strictly protected, and not only

  • Find good quality beef consommé ? December 8, 2017
Where can I find a good quality beef consommé ? near Jean Talon Market or plateau/mile-end ? I could start from scratch (bones, tomato paste ... ), but if I fail, I'd like a backup plan.
  • Best Ramen in Montreal December 8, 2017
I not a ramen expert by any means but I tried the tonkotsu at Tsukuyomi (new spot on st-laurent, just above Fairmount) today and loved it. I am curious to hear what the ramen aficionados think. I found the broth rich and delicious, the pork belly succulent and plentiful. Loved the sweet soy egg. It […]
  • Crema di Pistacchio December 3, 2017
Crema di Pistacchio is back in the news at Sorella boutique gourmet in Kirkland. Have you seen this product closer to downtown Montreal? If so, where? Thank you.
  • Argentinian pink shrimp at good price November 29, 2017
Once again Provigo has the 26/30 red shrimp at 5,99$, starting tomorrow (Thursday, Nov 30th). I don't get the Maxi flyer so I don't know whether Maxi has them as well. Provigo does quite a few recurrent loss-leaders (otherwise, I find them expensive). They also have 690g Saputo Mozzarrellissima pizza mozzarella at 4,99.

There's a christian maronite coastal city in Lebanon called Jounieh or Juniya. Since it's a Lebanese restaurant maybe that's their twist on the name. I like Juniya since it's less confusing with journey

  • NYE Montreal 2017 November 27, 2017
My family and I will be visiting Montreal for NYE 2017. We are traveling with our 3 year old daughter and are looking for a restaurant/party that would offer excellent food, some music, while possibly an indoor view of the fireworks outside in Old Port. Last is optional. We are more interested in a setting […]
  • Where to find SweeTango Apples in Montreal? November 26, 2017
I finally saw SweeTangos at my Provigo, but they looked a bit worse for wear. I think they were on sale for $3.49 and honeycrisps were $3.99. I went with Ambrosias for $1.99, which are actually pretty good too.
  • Are there any good Doughnuts left in Montreal? November 20, 2017
I'm a stickler though, :-) They aren't terrible, I'm just being overly critical. Try them and compare, I think they are just inconsistent, too much vanilla extract one time, too greasy the next but I had some this past summer at the DDO location and I enjoyed them.
